F words often begin with FL or FR. FL starts flame, flash, float and floor; FR starts fresh, front, fruit and frame. Those two pairs, plus a vowel second as in faith, field and focus, cover nearly every F word you'll use. F is worth 4 points in Scrabble, more than most consonants, and F words with a second high-value letter score well: fizzy and fuzzy are among the best. In Wordle, F can appear twice, as in fluff and fifth, so don't rule out a second F if the first one is already green.
